Located in the Dunsborough Hills area, this kitchen renovation focused on transforming a tired and cramped-feeling space into a bright, open and highly functional entertaining area.
The original kitchen lacked usable workspace and felt disconnected from the surrounding living areas. By simplifying the layout and introducing a large-scale island, we were able to dramatically improve both the functionality and visual impact of the room.
The centrepiece of the renovation is the oversized island finished in 40mm Silksurface Cobblonite. The generous proportions create a substantial preparation space while also providing casual seating and a natural gathering point for family and guests.
To maximise storage and functionality, the new kitchen incorporates extensive drawer cabinetry, overhead storage and integrated appliance zones. The clean white shaker-style cabinetry brings a timeless look to the space while maintaining a warm and welcoming feel that suits the home’s surroundings.
Premium Hafele appliances were selected throughout the project, complemented by an undermount Hafele quartz sink that creates a seamless and practical workspace within the island.
A glossy full-height splashback reflects natural light throughout the room and enhances the sense of openness, helping the kitchen feel significantly larger than the original space.
The completed renovation delivers a fresh, contemporary kitchen that balances everyday practicality with a refined aesthetic, creating a space that feels larger, brighter and far better connected to the rest of the home.
