Kitchen Fitter

About the role

Take pride in a kitchen that fits properly and looks great? We'd like to hear from you.

Cape Kitchens is looking for an experienced cabinet maker/installer to join our small, local team. We design, supply and install custom kitchens, laundries and benchtops across Margaret River, Busselton, Dunsborough and the surrounding South West.

This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, can think through a tricky installation and cares about the finishing details. You'll be working in customers' homes, so being reliable, respectful and tidy matters just as much as your trade skills.

What you'll do

• Assemble, fit and install kitchen and laundry cabinetry.
• Read drawings, check measurements and plan your work.
• Fit doors, drawers, panels, fillers, kickboards and hardware.
• Scribe and adjust cabinetry for a neat, accurate finish.
• Work with our team and other trades to keep jobs moving.
• Leave each site clean and tidy.

What we're looking for

• Experience in cabinet making, kitchen installation or similar joinery work.
• Confidence using cabinetry installation tools and equipment.
• The ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Care for the finished result, from cabinet alignment to the final adjustment.
• Clear communication with customers and the team.
• A current driver's licence.

A cabinet-making trade qualification would be welcome, as would experience with kitchen renovations in existing homes.

What we offer

Well above award wages, with pay based on your experience and skills.

Join a small, local team working on kitchen and laundry projects across the South West.
